One Week Longer

Can't believe that one week from today we will meet our new little boy!!! We've spent today finishing up his room and sorting clothes and toys that Aiden has outgrown. I think we are ready!!
So we've learned that his name is Kevin and he is 22 months old. We are leaving Thursday morning to go half way and then travel the rest of the way on Friday. We are set to meet him for the first time on Sat and get to know him a little....then he will spend one last night with his bio parents and then he will join our family on Sunday forever. We then will travel up to the Gulf Coast so that we can be near Joe's family until we get our ICPC clearance to leave Florida. That can take anywhere from 1 day to 10 days....we are hoping for 1!!! We are gonna have an unexpected vacation, though, while we are there! Hey...spending every day at the beach for up to 10 days isn't all that bad!!! :)
So please continue to keep us in your prayers. The next few weeks will be exciting but also very stressful. We are expecting a lot of tears and grief from Kevin as he has been with his bio parents all his life. Not sure how to help him - just praying for a lot of wisdom and God's peace to calm his pain and fears and that God will help him to trust us quickly. Also praying for our sweet Aiden to adjust quickly and to have lots of patience with Mommy and Daddy as we not only learn to be a family of 4....but do it in a hotel under stressful circumstances until we are cleared to come home. We know God will help us and guide us....but we are def a little fearful!
