We heard from our agency today about the baby that is due this week. She hasn't gone into labor yet but is due tomorrow. They did meet with her but they aren't positive she is going to place her child either. She seems to still be considering keeping the baby. We are the only family being considered right now. So.....they want to wait until she has the baby (hopefully in the next couple of days) and then see if she signs over her rights. So we aren't "matching" with her right now. It's just a wait and see kind of situation.
They also said the birth mother due in October hasn't decided on a family yet. So we are also waiting to hear on that one.
So....we are just waiting once again! Waiting is so overrated!!!! :) You would think I would be really, really good at waiting by now. Yeah, not so much!
Other than that, the other highlight of my day was taking Aiden to get his hair cut. The lady that cut it was rude and not good with children (or hair). After listening her tell my child that "All this crying is just making it worse and I don't care if you have a messed up hair line." All of the hair was falling into his mouth (and he was spitting it out in between cries) one of the other ladies told her to watch out for the hair in his mouth. She responded by saying, "Well, if he would quit crying, he wouldn't have to eat his hair." So my very outspoken little boy was screaming, "Leave me Alone." Yeah, we ended up leaving before his cut was finished.....WOW - just WOW.
All the way home he kept saying, "That's a bad man." (He doesn't understand the difference in man and woman yet). My poor guy!
